Our home is well equipped for families with small children. This home is full of toys, puzzles, games, crafts, children's books, etc - because I own and operate By God’s Grace preschool/daycare. We also have the baby/kid essentials like a changing table, high chairs, stroller, kid size plates, utensils, and sippy cups. All of the bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom has a California King size bed and a full size double vanity bathroom. In the second bedroom there is a toddler/twin bed, and a baby crib. The third bedroom we use as a media room/office, but it could easily accommodate another twin/full size blow up mattress. Attached to the house, and accessed through the kitchen is a garage with workout equipment - including a treadmill, rowing machine, pull up bar, bench, dumbbells, bands and more. The backyard is fenced so the little ones can play and not escape, lol. There are also baby gates at the top of the stairs, as well as the bottom, and another one for the kitchen. Trust me, this makes life a lot easier cooking dinner without having to constantly maneuver around toddling children and all the cabinet doors that they leave open. Safety electrical outlet covers throughout the home, and a potty training seat in the downstairs bathroom.

Our neighborhood is full of children of all ages. We have a short walk right out from our front door down to a lake. It’s a nice walk to take with small children and we often get out and go. Hatchers Pass and Independence Mine State Park is only a 20 minute drive from our house. The Alaska State Fair is fantastic, but the time frame is short (last 2 weeks of August through Labor Day.) Blueberry picking is a thing around here, it is time well spent as a family, and you will love it! Lots of exciting day trip opportunities, fishing, hiking, and sight seeing within close proximity, also we have moose in our neighborhood, along with tons of bunnies - our kids are obsessed with all the bunnies, they love them
